Fuel Switch is not a renewable energy registry. Fuel Switch is the technology infrastructure that streamlines the interaction between generators, traders, offtakers and the registry. When you register your account or device on Fuel Switch, it will be sent to the registry for approval. You will be notified when the process is complete and can then proceed with ease.

### **KNOW YOUR CUSTOMER (KYC)**

You will be required to receive KYC approval from a registry before you can access the Fuel Switch platform.

You will need the following documents for the Fuel Switch KYC:

* Photos of the front and back of your ID
* Bank confirmation letter (PDF or JPEG)
* zaRECs Application Form

The following additional documents are required if you are registering on behalf of a company

* Company Registration Document (CIPC)
* Authorization from Company Representative, on company letterhead, stating authority to act on behalf of the company
