Jan-Paul focuses on energy efficiency and carbon emissions reduction initiatives and programmes. He has worked in various specialist consultancy and project management roles focused on the green economy and has extensive experience in section 12L energy efficiency claims.
He holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (MEng) specialising in energy efficiency and sustainability and he is also certified as Energy Manager (CEM), Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP), Carbon Reduction Manager (CRM) and SANAS accredited Technical Signatory for M&V of Energy Savings (SANS 50010) as well as EPCs for Buildings (SANS 1544).

Gideon is an experienced project and product manager with multiple multinational projects successfully delivered in various industries. His work at Fuel Switch focuses on optimising business processes and administration, driving improvements that directly contributed to the bottom line while advancing our commitment to eco-friendly business practices.He is an Industrial Engineer and holds a master’s in project management. Gideon is skilled in process thinking and enterprise risk management frameworks. He brings the technology and business teams together to successfully deliver software solutions.

Jacques is the technical lead on Fuel Switch, having designed the system architecture and leading the development team. He is Head of Technology at Yknot Blockchain Solutions & holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering (MEng) specialising in artificial intelligence.
Rory is the smart contract expert on Fuel Switch. He has ample high level experience in the field of blockchain development, smart contracts and system architecture. He holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering and has a background in aeronautical engineering & telecommunications.
Anika developed the Fuel Switch brand and user interface. She translates business concepts and user requirements into function and beauty. Her focus is on maximising the user experience. She is skilled in conceptualising brands and ensuring brand relevance & consistency.
Stefan leads the business design, crypto-legal compliance, and financial models of Fuel Switch. His high level input and network of advisors secures the long term viability of the product. He specialises his entrepreneurial focus on developing and financing crypto-based DeFi products.
Alec is a serial entrepreneur with an aptitude for real-world technical solutions and the innovative use of cutting-edge technologies. He has an innate ability to be present, to connect and to value the needs of his clients. Alec is the Managing Director of Yknot Blockchain Solutions.
